What is your favorite source of Fantasy Baseball Info?
This week's Poll Question has huge act to follow after last week's monster. Where do you get your fantasy basebll information. The Expert's Poll revealed that Pod Casts are a very popular source of information. But can they replace the more traditional sources? If you use a combination it would great if you could share to what degree you use each in the comments. I'd love to hear from as many people as last week.

I really like the blog sites because I think, first of all, Grey from Razzball is hilarious, and because they have updates every day. Razzball has to be one of my favorite sites up. Every night I can count on looking and finding out what interesting happened, and what closer to pick up.

ReplyDeleteI don't have an MP3 player ... not really a big music guy and only commute 10 minutes, by car. Pretty busy home life. I always *think* I'll download a few fantasy baseball podcasts but by the time I listen to them, the info is old. Blogs all the way! A quick read during a mini-break at work is what I need, not a few guys talking for an hour with a bit of information in there if I am not zoning out at the wrong time.
ReplyDeleteMatt, I know exactly what you mean. I try to check out podcasts all the time and I end up re-playing them because the phone rang or someone spoke to me at the wrong moment. And I end up getting very little out of them for the time spent.
ReplyDeleteThough if you have the time in a distraction-free environment I imagine they are incredibly useful.I used to have really long commutes and listened to sports radio all the time. I imagine if I still had time to listen to sports radio I'd be listening to more podcasts.
I read a bunch of different blogs each day, from general fantasy baseball sites like Roto Authority and Razzball, as well as blogs about the my favorite team. But my Bibles are the Baseball Prospectus and Baseball America's Prospect Report. I never make a move without checking in again to see what they have to say about a player. I often look back at Prospect Reports from a few years ago to get a sense for what experts were saying about a player as he was coming up. Hidden value can be discovered in this way.
